Seconds are too strong
CITY OF BATH MEN The 2nds proved too strong for their 3rd XI club-mates in the Davis Wood East Central 1, running out 9-0 victors.
Strikes from Dudley Bartlett, Charlie Elias, Tim Waldron and an unfortunate own goal put the 2nds 4-0 up inside 20 minutes and it was their clinical finishing that proved the difference between the teams.
The 3rds were 7-0 down at the break but showed their resilience in keeping the score down in the second half.
Elias went on to complete a double, while Ben Batchelor- Wylam, Mark Benfield, Steve James and Ally Stone also scored for the third-placed 2nds.
