Runner-up Kara shows versatility
EQUESTRIAN King Edward's schoolgirl Kara Hughes finished as runner-up at the Cotley Hunt Area 15 Pony Club Triathlon.
In her first triathlon of the year, and despite being one of the youngest competitors in the 14-and-under class, Kara won the shooting phase and was just two points behind the overall winner.

Kara's success earned her a place at the Pony Club National Triathlon Championships.
However, as the event clashes with the Pentathlon GB South West qualifier, she has handed her spot to the third-placed finisher.
