Royal United Hospital celebrates 80th birthday
People with items relating to the history of the Royal United Hospital are being asked to bring them along for an exhibition.
To mark the 80th anniversary of the hospital being on the Combe Park site, an exhibition is being held on Tuesday.

As part of the celebrations a local historian will be there to talk about the items featured.
There will also be the final of the Great RUH Birthday Cake Bake-Off competition - where staff have entered cakes to be judged by the High Sheriff of Somerset.

People will be able to have a slice of cake, with donations going towards the Forever Friends Appeal Cancer Care campaign.
A heritage and history project is also being launched with Bath Spa University students.
It will look at key events over the hospital’s history as well as looking ahead to what the next 80 years might bring.
The celebrations start at 1pm in the Atrium, with the heritage and history project being unveiled at 2.45pm and the cake judging at 3pm.
