Royal Mail ban in Chippenham after postman bitten by fleas
Royal Mail has banned deliveries to thirteen properties in Chippenham after a postman was bitten by fleas.
Properties in Queen's Crescent have been informed that they will have to collect their post from Bumper's Way Royal Mail delivery office after a postman received 'severe' bites on his arms and legs.
A Royal Mail Spokesperson, Val Bodden said: "We have suspended deliveries to a small number of properties in Queen's Crescent, Chippenham."
"This follows our regular postman experiencing problems with an infestation of fleas in the surrounding grass and pathway which enables him to access these properties."
