Rowing for cash at Sainsbury's in Bradford on Avon for Comic Relief
Shoppers and Athletics came together at Sainsbury's in Bradford on Avon to help row 110K to raise money for this year's Comic Relief.
Many people who came along to do their weekly shop helped athletes and Proto-Col, a local nutrition and supplement business in Bradford on Avon meet their target of 110K on rowing machines which were donated by Body Tech Gym for the occasion.

The team are trying to meet their target within 5 hours of rowing continually keeping a record of how many kilometres each person had rowed.
James Greenwell, Managing Director of Proto-Col said: "We thought it would be a challenge to try and knock out 110K. We don't have 5 days so we have only 5 hours."

Pentathlon athletes all pitched in their efforts including Heather Felt, Sarah Langridge and Kate Allenby who have all competed in the Olympics for team GB.
Heather Felt said: "It's brilliant I think it is one of the vocal events running in Bradford on Avon for Comic Relief. It's a good way of supporting Comic Relief and raising some money for good causes."
Staff at Sainsbury's were also sporting red Comic Relief uniforms including wearing the iconic red nose in a bid to help raise funds for those in need. Justin King, CEO of Sainsbury's also paid a visit to the Bradford on Avon store to praise the efforts which were being made.
As well as rowing for charity, Sainsbury's are also holding other events to raise funds including: Face Painting, cake sales, a red nose hunt around the store and colouring in being held in the store's cafe."
Red Nose Day is an annual fundraising day where schools, businesses and individuals come together to raise money for people in need across the UK and Africa.
The day has been running for 25 years with a live programme being aired on TV on BBC One from 7pm.
