Ross is record-breaker
Ross Whittock broke a three- season old class record when Clay Pigeon Raceway hosted the final round of the Bridge Tyres South Western Sprint Championship.
The Bath Motor Club member lowered the old mark by 1.8 seconds as he claimed another production class win in his trusted Mini.
Whittock said: "The engine and transmission prepared by Ollie Howells of Radstock have been extremely reliable this season.
"We will be competing in the sprint at Castle Combe later this month before we finish for the year."
