Rory Bremner, Caroline Quentin, David Haig and Patricia Hodge star in new Theatre Royal Bath season
Entertainer Rory Bremner will be hoping to make a good impression when he appears in a Noel Coward play at the Theatre Royal this summer.
The impressionist stars with Caroline Quentin and Patricia Hodge in Relative Values, which runs from June 10 to 30, and is directed by Sir Trevor Nunn.

The comedy launches the venue’s summer schedule, which also sees David Haig taking the lead role in King Lear.
The Spring into Summer Season announced by the theatre this week also includes an acclaimed stage adaptation of Sebastian Faulks’s novel Birdsong starring Hollyoaks actress Sarah Jayne Dunn and ‘Allo ‘Allo actor Arthur Bostrom, poet Roger McGough’s new version of Moliere’s The Misanthrope, the return of The Blues Brothers, and Agatha Christie’s Go Back for Murder, starring Liza Goddard, Sophie Ward, Robert Duncan, Gary Mavers and Lysette Anthony.

The theatre has revealed that this year’s pantomime will be Peter Pan, and will once again feature Chris Harris and Jon Monie.
Starring roles have yet to be announced for the show, which starts on December 12.
There are special event appearances by Roy Hattersley and Ann Widdecombe.
