The Rec to host JP Morgan Premiership Rugby 7s Series final as Bath start campaign at Gloucester
The Rec will host the JP Morgan Premiership Rugby 7s Series final for the second year running this summer, following the announcement of today’s draw.
Bath Rugby will get their campaign under way at West Country rivals Gloucester’s Kingsholm Stadium on Thursday, August 1 before potentially returning to their home ground for the final on Friday, August 9.
The competition sees the 12 Aviva Premiership clubs split into three pools of four, with each group contested on consecutive nights. The top two from each pool will then progress to the final.
Bath have been drawn in Group A against host club Gloucester, Exeter Chiefs and Worcester Warriors in the tournament opener on August 1.

The following night, Northampton Saints host Leicester Tigers, London Welsh and Sale Sharks at Franklin’s Gardens.
The pool stages are completed on Saturday, August at Saracens’ Allianz Park, with holders London Irish, Harlequins and Wasps all in action.
