Reaching out for success
Young dancers from the Bath area were among those who took part in a production by the English Youth Ballet of Coppelia.
They were among 100 dancers, aged between eight and 18, chosen for the production in Swindon.
Those selected were Abi Sargeant, aged 14, of Ralph Allen School; Vicky Gregory, 17, of St Brendan's Sixth Form College; Rebekah Chapman, 14, of King Edward's School; Claire Berrisford, 14, of Hayesfield School; Zoe Hughes, of the Royal High School; Marielle Thomas, 11, from Kingswood School; Abigail Finch, 14 , of The Corsham School, and 10-year-old Georgina Wynne Hughes, of Bathford CofE Primary School.
Most of the youngsters train at the Curtis Dance Academy, but Vicky attends the 344 Dance Centre, and Marielle and Claire are students at the Dorothy Coleborn School of Dancing.
