The former Bath Rugby players at the centre of this summer's drugs row will face a RFU disciplinary panel at 10am on Wednesday, July 29.

The hearing against Michael Lipman, Alex Crockett, Andrew Higgins and Justin Harrison will take place over two days at a venue to be confirmed.

His Honour Judge Jeff Blackett, the RFU disciplinary officer, will chair the panel which also includes John Brennan and Jeremy Summers.

All four players have been charged with conduct prejudicial to the interests of the game, contrary to Rule 5.12 of the rules of the Rugby Football Union 2008-09.

While still registered players at The Rec, they are accused of taking illegal substance(s) or giving the impression they had taken an illegal substance(s) and refusing to submit to an internal club drugs test as requested by Bath RFC.
