Pushing ahead with skateboard park plan for Larkhall
Plans for a skateboard park at Larkhall are making progress.
Mother-of-two Joanna Wright is to hand in a petition to B&NES Council calling for the park to be created on unused land near Alice Park. She has been encouraged by B&NES councillor Sarah Bevan (Lib Dem, Peasedown St John), who is keen for people to make the most of the Government's Neighbourhood Plan scheme, which aims to give residents more of a say over their local areas.

Plans for a skate park at Larkhall are progressing
Joanna said: "'The Neighbourhood Plan is a great way to let communities tell the local authorities what residents actually want where they live. On the east of Bath, many residents want a skate park and better sports facilities for the whole community."
Plans for the park have already been drawn up, along the lines of a similar facility in Midsomer Norton.

“There's absolutely no reason Peasedown Cllr Sarah Bevan should be in Larkhall/Lambridge unless there are problems in Peasedown. What next for Bevan I wonder, it's very generous of Independent Cllrs Bryan Chalker and Dave "Mr L" Laming to give her this photo op;)
Has anyone seen the Lib Dem fuelled Shi'ite that's going on in Peasedown Parish at the moment? It's no wonder Sarah's attempting to escape!!!”
