“Many years ago there used to be something called "Bath Children Write". All the primary schools took part, and work was submitted to a big annual exhibition in the Library. It meant that everyone was encouraged to write, and had the opportunity to see their writing published, in a manner.
It was a brilliant idea - not least because yours truly got "Highly Commended" for a poem about a volcano!”

“What a great idea. Just remember kids a story can be true or a dream. I wish I had something like this when I was at school instead of the corporal punishment delt out at random by the idiot, bullying fools that couldn't be trusted to teach a dog to fetch! Ah! The good ol' days! One day soon I hope to publish a few stories! Must remember to tern on the spel chek init!”
