Schoolchildren from across Bath picked up their colouring pencils to brighten up a building site at the Royal United Hospital.

Children from Weston All Saints Primary School, St Mary's Catholic Primary School and The Paragon Junior School created panels to represent 80 years of the RUH.

They will be on display for around 18 months while work on a pathology laboratory is completed.

The art project was the idea of Kier Construction site manager Gary Latham, who said: "I find it amazing the ideas the children have come up with. The quality that has gone into their artwork is superb."
