Meanwhile, in the Seniors’ league competition, Reg Morris kept his faint chance of taking the Division 1 title alive by ending Sue Norris’s seven-match unbeaten run.

John Sercombe is also going up to Division 1, despite losing to a rejuvenated Tony Damon who won his second successive match in fine style.
Tiger Lewis was the other player battling for promotion but his hopes ended with a last-gasp defeat to Roger Randall, who wrapped up the Division 2 title as a result.
The champion was one down at the turn but won four of the next six holes and, after losing the next two, finished off his rival with victory on the last hole.
