Teenager due in court charged with sexual assault in Bath

A teenager is due to appear in court today charged with sexual assault following an incident in Bath over the weekend.

George Tounkara, 19, of Oxford Row, on Lansdown Road, is expected to be at Bath Magistrates Court this morning.

It follows an alleged incident which took place at the bottom of Lansdown Road in the early hours of Sunday morning.

Forensic officers sealed off the pedestrian area at the junction with Hay Hill while investigations were underway.
