Bath police are appealing for the public's help after a student returned home half-naked and without her handbag.

It is not yet clear if the 21-year-old woman was the victim of an assault, but officers are asking people to help them fill in the gap.

She arrived back at her house in the early hours of last Wednesday morning missing a pair of turquoise shorts zipped at the back, a pair of black tights and a pair of leopard print knickers.

Police had also been looking for a green WWF bag with a panda on the front, a Nokia Lumia mobile phone, a Bath Spa University identity card, a passport, a national insurance card and a Santander bank card.

But police would still like to know what happened to the woman and have been looking through CCTV footage.
