With four successful seminar and networking events behind it, the B&NES Entrepreneurs' Club is gaining momentum and celebrated its official launch on Tuesday at The Cosy Club in SouthGate Place. The launch fell in Global Enterprise Week 2011 with its motto, Starting Tomorrow's Business Today.

On Tuesdays students, graduates and would-be entrepreneurs join members of the local business community for seminar and networking evenings at various venues. After talks on general issues, Networking by Darrell Cocup and Fit to be an Entrepreneur by Dr Colin Selby, the club has looked at more specific issues.

Tony Williams of Regency Offices explained how his business developed from his own difficulties in finding suitable, prestigious but efficient premises for his own business. Today Tony has more than 70 tenants in various managed offices around the centre of Bath.

In February the subject moves on to personal skills, team work, assertiveness and stress management.

The programme is being put together to allow for seminars, site visits, copious networking opportunities, challenges and innovative experiences. The venues have been chosen to demonstrate diverse corporate images. The speakers are all volunteers from the Bath and North East Somerset business community
