One small step for man, one giant leap for bacon.

A homemade pig has joined the space race and taken bacon higher than it has gone before, thanks to a Chippenham security camera company.

The sky was the limit as Fly on the Wall decided to launch bacon into space for the first time . . . and film the epic journey.

Mission control was Chippenham Cricket Club as “Pigasus” was prepared for lift off.

Bacon was packed into the homemade pig-shaped container, last minute safety checks were carried out before the countdown began for the historic space flight.

Lift off went without a hitch and “Pigasus” touched down on earth 50 miles away at Tongham Motor Club.
