BATH CITY YOUTH In a week when two of the girls' under-14s team celebrated their birthdays, there was further cause for celebration as they progressed to the final of the Somerset Cup.

Millie's quick free-kick led to Jess volleying City into the lead after just two minutes of an excellent semi-final against Mendip.

The second goal also came from the right, Emily winning the ball and releasing Millie whose shot floated just inside the post.

Anna's deflected strike made it 3-0 and although Mendip pulled one back, Millie made sure of the win in the second half following a great run and shot.
