Pedestrian injured in cycle accident
Traffic was disrupted in Bath last night following a collision between a cyclist and a male pedestrian.
The incident happened just before 2.15pm at Lansdown Road between the junction with Lansdown Place East and St Stephen’s Church.

Avon and Somerset Police closed the road for around three hours, with Park and Ride services suspended and traffic cogestion on Lansdown Hill.
The cyclist was treated on the scene while the pedestrian, who is thought to be in his 70s was taken to the Royal United Hospital with head and arm injuries.
Meanwhile junction 17 of the M4 westbound was closed last night following an accident between a motorbike and a car.
The incident happened close to Leigh Delamere services around 3.15pm and the motorcyclist was airlifted to hospital.
