Overnight closure of M5 near Bristol
A reminder is being issued to motorists that the M5 near Bristol will be closed in both directions tonight as part of a £88m highways upgrade.
The motorway between junctions 17 and 16 northbound, as well as 15 and 17 southbound, will be closed from 7pm and will re-open tomorrow at 11am.
The southbound slip road at junction 16 will also be closed frpm 6pm.
The footbridge just south of junction 16 (Aztec west) is being taken down and replaced by a new pedestrian bridge.
