Newman at the double for newly-crowned champions City of Bath at Gillingham
City of Bath's newly-crowned ladies 1sts returned to winning ways with a 5-1 victory at Gillingham.
Michelle Newman netted twice for City, who suffered their first defeat of the West Clubs East Division season a week earlier, while Dayzee Booth, Jules Mainwaring and Jess Sharpe added the others.

City 2nds produced a strong team performance to beat their Chippenham counterparts in Wessex Division 1.
Jackie Kellock put them ahead at the break with a fine strike from the edge of the circle and Sara Deverelle rounded off the win after some excellent work by Ellie Gardner and Sarah Watson.
