New pub for vaults
A new pub-restaurant will be opened by brewery Bath Ales at the new Vaults development at the SouthGate centre.
The firm which runs the Hop Pole at Upper Bristol Road will open a Graze Bar, Brewery and Chophouse, before Christmas at the development next to Bath Spa railway station.
The unit at Brunel Square, which is the final phase of the £360 million shopping centre, will be the brewery's largest venue, with capacity for 140 diners, and be modelled on existing Graze bars in Bristol and Cirencester.
The firm's retail director Robin Couling said: "This is a really exciting development for us."
