Police investigating an unprovoked road rage incident in Keynsham say they are searching for a Mr T lookalike.

The incident happened in Queens Road in the town at around 3pm on Friday.

A 22-year-old driver was followed by a black Honda Civic sports car, which overtook him and forced him to stop.

A man then got out and smashed the victim's driver's door window with his elbow and punched him repeatedly.

The victim suffered cuts and bruises and was left shaken and shocked by the attack.

Witnesses have described the assailant as looking very much like Mr T or BA Baracuss from the popular 80s television programme The A Team. His car had a rear spoiler and a 57 number plate.
