SOMERSET PREMIER CUP Bath City will host local rivals Odd Down in the quarter-finals after a youthful team put the boot into Wellington last week.

Welsh winger Kerry Morgan opened the scoring with less than 60 seconds on the clock and struck again seven minutes from time to wrap up a 4-0 away win.

Brad Norris was also on target just before the break, while youth-team member Sam Babatunde bagged City's third from a Morgan cross.

It is the first time City have progressed beyond the second round since winning the competition in 2007-08.

Joining them in the last eight are Larkhall Athletic, whose reward for a 1-0 victory over Cheddar is an away trip to Evostik League South Division 1 South & West outfit Paulton Rovers.

The decisive moment in an entertaining tie came during the first half when Joe Stradling, who started up front in place of the cup-tied Nat Auckland, brilliantly lobbed the Cheddar keeper from distance.

Adam Tyers and Ross Beazer both returned from injury, while James Walters produced a man-of-the-match performance after making an impressive step up from Larkhall's under-18s.
