Monkey stories helped dying friend
When her friend was in hospital Dawn Carroll wrote stories about a group of monkeys to cheer her up.
The stories have now been published in aid of charity, with Ms Carroll hoping to put more smiles on more faces with the exploits of the Banana Bunch.

Profits from the book will be divided between Welsh children's hospice Ty Hafan and Cheltenham charity Winston's Wish to represent the fact that the characters in the book are two monkey families from Wales and England.
The books are being sold at Mr B's Emporium, Oldfield Park Bookshop and Toppings.

Ms Carroll, from Weston, said: "My friend asked me to make sure that the stories were published so that other people could share the laughter that they had brought to her and her family at such a difficult time.
"After her death I looked into doing it, and decided to give the profits to two children's charities."
The stories were devised as her friend, who has since died, owned a number of toy monkeys.
