Minerva Bath Rowing Club ready to take on Boat Race course in Head of the River event on the River Thames in London

Minerva Bath, fresh from winning the Sports Club of the Year accolade in the annual Bath & North East Somerset Chairman Awards, are gearing up to take on the 6.8km Boat Race course on the River Thames.

For the first time, they will field an eight from the newly-formed veteran women’s squad at tomorrow’s Head of the River event, as well as crews in the senior men and women competitions.
