Michelin stars for The Bath Priory
The Bath area has two entries in this year's Michelin guide to the UK's hotels and restaurants.
The Bath Priory, at Weston Road, is a new entry in the guide, receiving one Michelin star.
Its restaurant is overseen by executive head chef Michael Caines, who has two Michelin stars at its sister hotel Gidleigh Park, and head chef Sam Moody.
The Park Restaurant at Lucknam Park at Colerne, run by executive chef Hywel Jones, retained its Michelin star for another year. The restaurant has held a Michelin star since 2006.
