Martin out of medals
Bath's Martin Sinclair and his ParalympicsGB seven-a-side team-mates went into yesterday's match against the USA unable to qualify for this weekend's medal matches.
Their hopes were dashed after heavy defeats in their first two group games, with a 3-0 loss against Brazil followed by a 7-1 reverse at the hands of defending champions Ukraine.

Sinclair – brother of new £6.2million Manchester City signing Scott – produced some moments of quality, particularly in the second match where his inch-perfect through-ball almost led to a goal for Alistair Patrick- Heselton.
But Ukraine had too much quality for Britain, who will go into the play-offs for fifth to eighth place. Their semi-final is tomorrow morning with the final on Sunday.
