“The driver and passenger (aged 17 to 19) did stop and help the casualty and if it wasn't for them he potentially wouldn't be here today. So well done to them.”

“I also hope that this young man makes a full recovery, my thoughts are with him and his family.
Did the car driver stop to attend?. Hope this is not another hit and run incident!!”

“I hope the person involved makes a full recovery asap.
There was another traffic accident on Saturday night around 6pm, on St Johns Road (Bathwick), which seems to have gone un-reported by The Chronicle. It involved a motorcyclist I believe, the road was blocked, and the paramedics attended to someone for quite some time. I hope this person was ok also.”
