Man in court accused of murdering his wife
A man charged with murdering his wife has been remanded in custody until April after appearing for the first time in front of a judge.
Richard Newton was at Bristol Crown Court yesterday in a case that was delayed from last Friday because of the snow.
The 51-year-old is accused of killing his wife Suzanne Bavette Newton, 45.
Her body was found at the couple’s house in Barnes Wallis Close, on the Bowerhill estate in Melksham, Wiltshire, on January 13.
