Madness not to join Keynsham Youth
Keynsham Youth Theatre is performing Our House, the musical featuring the songs of Madness later this year and is looking to recruit new members keen on developing their skills in singing, acting and dance.
Director Graeme Savage says: "This spring we have a large number of students who are leaving us – older teenagers who have grown up with the company and are now moving on to university and away from the area.
"We've always been very lucky that this popular company has had a strong membership, and a healthy waiting list, but with almost half of our members reaching the age at which they need to move on, it's a rare opportunity for us to welcome new members to the group.
"One of the most rewarding things about working with youth theatres is that there is always a high turnover of members, which keeps the group vibrant and energised, and this is an exciting time for new people to come along and get involved".
