M4 motorway disruption put on hold as repair works cancelled
Drivers in Bath have been spared disruption on the M4 motorway this weekend after major repairs were cancelled.
The motorway was set to close overnight from 10pm to 6am to allow cables to be renewed.
But the Highways Agency has revealed that the work between Junction 17-18, Chippenham to Bath, has been put on hold.
The agency said the work by the Electricity Alliance would now be carried out at a later date.
