Loyal Kieswetter is delighted to extend contract with Somerset
England wicketkeeper Craig Kieswetter has agreed a new deal with Somerset which commits him to the county until the end of 2014.
The 24-year-old has been the first-choice 'keeper, apart from when he has been away on international duties, at the County Ground since 2007, and he made his England one-day debut against Bangladesh in February 2010, since when he has appeared in 28 one-day internationals and 14 Twenty20 internationals.

Brian Rose, Somerset's director of cricket, said: "Craig has signed a new three year contract, which I'm personally delighted about. He is showing his faith in Somerset, which is a great thing for us at his age, and it gives him another three years and great opportunity to further his England career."
Kieswetter has decided that he will not be going to the Indian Premier League, meaning that he will be available for the whole of the season for the Cidermen – apart from when he is playing for England.
Rose said: "I think it is a very intelligent decision not to go to the IPL and it reinforces our side in April and May, which is a critical period for us."
Kieswetter said: "I've signed a two-year extension to the one year I had remaining on my contract, so basically it's a new three-year deal. I am delighted to extend my time at Somerset, where I have been since I was 17 years old.
"I hold the club very dear to my heart and I want to be part of the success in the future. I've been made welcome by everybody since my arrival here, and this is my chance to give something back to the club and the supporters."
North Devon's Jamie Overton has been forced to pull out of the England Under-19 side's trip to Bangladesh, after suffering from concussion.
Overton ran into a post during a fielding drill while working with the squad at Loughborough University in preparation for the tour, which starts next week. The Somerset Academy youngster spent seven hours in hospital undergoing tests.
