Lord's visit for Winsley Cricket Club youngsters
Winsley Cricket Club’s under-11s had a taste of top-level cricket as they visited the MCC Academy at Lord’s to compete in an indoor tournament.
They took on host club Primrose Hill, Harrogate and Worcester-based Rushwick from Worcester, putting in some good performances against very strong opposition.

The experience provided a great springboard ahead of the new season, which starts with registration for the junior section from 12noon on April 6&7.
Some mini cricket sessions will also take place on those days, with regular training for the under-7s and under-9s running from 10am on Sundays.

The under-11s and under-13s will train at 6.15pm on Thursdays and the under-15s will meet at the same time on a day to be decided.
