Life in the '80s proves a winning cake recipe
A former psychiatric nurse from Bath has been crowned the UK's best celebration cake maker at the baking industry's equivalent of the Oscars.
Sandra Monger, of Exquisite Wedding and Celebration Cakes in Bath, scooped the award at the annual Baking Industry Awards in London.

She beat off competition from all over the UK to come up with a cake fit to celebrate the competition's 25th anniversary.
Drawing inspiration from the timing of the inaugural first awards in 1987, Sandra's cake featured 1980s stars such as model Sam Fox, Harry Enfield's Loadsamoney, boxer Frank Bruno and Lady Thatcher, along with an outsize mobile phone.
