There will be plenty of local interest when the RBS Women's Six Nations gets under way this weekend.

Bath-born centre Georgina Rozario has been named on the bench for England's opening match against Scotland, alongside The Paragon School sports coach Isabelle Noel- Smith.

"I am really pleased to be selected," said Noel-Smith, who plays at flanker for Bristol RFC. "I have worked very hard for this and relish the opportunity to represent my country again."

Fly-half Kim Oliver, a swimming teacher at the University of Bath, is also in the England squad but has missed out on selection for Saturday's match at Lasswade RFC in Edinburgh (5pm).

England, who will be defending their Grand Slam crown, are looking for a record-breaking seventh consecutive title.

Head coach Gary Street is anticipating 'the toughest Six Nations' yet, though, pinpointing the televised match against Wales at Twickenham on February 25 (6.15pm) as a crunch encounter.

Among the opposition that day could be Bath Rugby Foundation community coach Caryl Thomas, who is in the Wales squad.

She starts at prop for tomorrow's opening match in Ireland (7.30pm).
