The Lake Singers are a mixed group and were last in Bath in 2005.

Their repertoire includes English, American and Dutch sea shanties and folk songs.

They were founded in 2000 by members of the Alkmaar Rowing and Sailing Club and next year sees the 100th anniversary of the Rowing and Sailing Club and the tenth anniversary of the founding of the choir.

Since then many thousands of Bathonians have visited Alkmaar to experience their warm hospitality.
