Keynsham swimmers set records
There were some fantastic record-breaking performances when Keynsham swimmers contested the Club Championships last Saturday.
Ben Lawton (13 years and under 100m breaststroke), Ethan Hall (9 years and under 25m butterfly) and Zac Derrick and Sam Lawton (11 years and under 200m individual medley) all set new club bests.
Rhiannon Bowen, meanwhile, missed out on the 10/11 years 100m individual medley record – set way back in 1979 – by a tenth of a second.
The event saw 140 swimmers aged between six and 54 taking part.
