Keynsham sisters Bethany and Sophie Taylor team up on track
Keynsham sisters Bethany and Sophie Taylor have been selected for the 2012 Youth Inter-Regional Track Championships, taking place in Newport this week.
It is 14-year-old Bethany's second successive appearance at the prestigious event, while Sophie will make her debut on the national stage at just 13.
The team-based event brings together the best youth track cyclists from across the UK over three days, giving the Wellsway School pupils the chance to develop their skills and challenge for honours against potential Olympians.
The sisters are also determined to follow in the tyre tracks of Victoria Pendleton and Laura Trott, and are appealing for sponsorship to help their progress.
