With Yate determined to make amends for conceding early on, Bath keeper Ali Cupper was forced to make a number of excellent saves to keep the score at 1-0 at half-time.
However, it was Bath who found the net first after the break, Broadhurst doubling their lead with his first goal of the season.
Yate pulled a goal back to reduce the deficit but Broadbent added a third and, despite a late fightback and a second goal for Yate, Bath held on for an important victory.
The 4th team put eight past Swindon C without reply.
William Morrish and John Mahy both claimed hat-tricks and Jack Joyce and Mark Cope added a goal apiece to help Bath secure their position at the top of the East Central 2 standings.
The 5th team lost 4-1 to Mid-Somerset, with Neil Cade grabbing their consolation.
