John Shuttleworth stops off at Bath Komedia
Funny man John Shuttleworth has been described as "a national institution", amongst other things and is currently on a huge and long-awaited countrywide tour which takes in Bath Komedia on Monday evening.
John Shuttleworth is actually a fictional singer-songwriter and radio presenter, created by English comedy actor and musician, Graham Fellows in 1986. John is in his late 50s and is from Walkley in Sheffield. He has a quiet manner and slightly nerdish tendencies.

John Shuttleworth
But he is also outrageously funny.
The Sony and Perrier nominated Shuttleworth has recently ventured beyond his northern garden gate – behind which his wife is a dinner lady – to tread the mean streets of Britain. Which is better John asks, city life or country living? Is the supermarket or the village shop better? And is there more to life than sitting in the shed and counting the cobwebs?
