Jim Rollo back at Bath City after brief spell at Chippenham Town
Bath City legend Jim Rollo has rejoined the club, less than three months after moving to Chippenham Town.
Rollo made 476 appearances for City during a ten-year stay at Mayday Trust Park but left on New Year's Eve to join the Evo-Stik League Southern Premier Division side.

However, the Bluebirds did not win a game during his stint at Hardenhuish Park and Rollo admits the switch had not gone according to plan.
"Ten weeks ago I had the hardest decision I've made in football - today I had the easiest," said the 36-year-old, who will once again combine a playing and coaching role.

"I am really looking forward to seeing all the lads and being part of Bath City Football Club again. Accept the past, manage the present and work hard towards the future."
City chairman Manda Rigby added: "I am beyond delighted Jim is back with Bath City. I know that, in whatever capacity, he will give the best he can and his return is a huge boost to the club."
Rollo's return is subject to the completion of the paperwork.

“There is a lot of unrest amongst the natives even the rose tinted brigade are starting to question what's going on,Someone's idea of quelling the fans.No boost to the footballing side of things.
In fact I find this signing a bit of a insult.Sort it out whoever is in charge and to be honest I haven't a clue who that is.”

“Someone please explain why he's come back and to do what? Is this the clubs way of trying to please the supporters?”

“Rollo I think should have never been allowed to go and should of been made head coach, manager, call it what you will.
He is now back and the chair should the next best thing and get rid of Howells.”

“A really shocking signing,OMG NewlyWed your not going to come on here and try and defend this.
When City have won I'm the first to give credit, scroll through or are you going to over look that fact.
This has made us a laughing stock, unless I'm missing the point and he's coming to work behind the bar.
Can you tell me how he's going to boost the team as Our Chairwoman has said,if he was that big a boost why did they same people release him a couple of months back?”
