Inquiry into ambulance collision continues
An investigation into an incident in Bath in which a schoolboy was hit by an ambulance is continuing.
Ralph Allen pupil George Jenkins is being treated at Frenchay Hospital, in Bristol, for a serious head injury following the collision two weeks ago.

He celebrated his 12th birthday in hospital over the weekend.
Last week George's mother Nanette, who lives in Fairfield Park, thanked the local community for their concern and support since the accident, as well as the medical staff who were looking after him.

She said he had been making good progress with his recovery.
A police investigation into the collision at 4pm on Thursday, March 7 in London Road is still going on and anyone with information is asked to contact the non-emergency number 101.

“Why is this investigation taking so long? There were a number of witnesses to this appalling accident including the ambulance driver and police car following the ambulance. Meanwhile, many happy returns to George on his 12th birthday - hopefully you were able to have a good day over in Frenchay! Get well soon!”
