Three men went to the pensioner's home in South Stoke on the morning of Thursday, October 18, and persuaded her that she needed the repairs doing.
She was intimidated into agreeing to pay £1,700 for the work and withdrew the money from the Lloyds branch, in Moorland Road, before handing it over.
