Hotel on the market
A Bath hotel is being put up for sale as part of financial restructuring by accommodation giant Travelodge.
The Travelodge Bath Waterside is leased to the firm by Piccadilly Hotels, which is selling it through agent Christie and Co.
The 124-room venue at Widcombe is one of six being sold by Piccadilly in a move which is linked to Travelodge's debt mountain.
Travelodge, which also has a hotel in the old Royal York Hotel building in George Street, has been behind plans for a hotel next to the Holiday Inn Express in Lower Bristol Road which are the subject of a planning appeal.

The Waterside is going on the market at a time when Premier Inn is working on a new hotel in James Street West and there is planning permission for new hotels at Green Park House and Kingsmead House.
Meanwhile, a Bath sports pub has also been put on the market.
The Victoria Works, formerly the Belvoir Castle, on Lower Bristol Road has been put up for sale for £285,000.
It is also being marketed by Christie and Co, on behalf of the joint administrators of Pubfolio and Goldtry.
The pub is let on a 20-year lease, expiring in June 2029.
Dining out in Bath this month could help feed children around the world.
All this month, restaurants in the city are taking part in Action Against Hunger's Love Food Give Food appeal.
The appeal hopes to raise much-needed funding to help feed malnourished children in places such as Burkina Faso, Niger and Liberia.
Belushi's and the Bath Priory are giving customers the opportunity to add a small donation to their bill and are offering certain dishes where a percentage of the cost goes to Action Against Hunger.
