HorseWorld project gives children a boost
Horses are being used to improve the concentration and confidence of children across the Bath area.
Parents and schools are being invited to take advantage of ground-breaking Discovery educational courses run by the charity HorseWorld, which is based at Whitchurch, near Bristol.
The project will have an information stand at the Big Festival Weekend at Bath Racecourse on Saturday and Sunday. The courses give youngsters the chance to learn to handle, groom, tack up and lead a horse.
Project leader Amanda Cranston said: "All these activities boost youngsters' confidence and encourage teamwork."
