TOOLSTATION LEAGUE Larkhall Athletic's winless Toolstation Premier Division run stretched to four matches when they were held to a 2-2 draw at lowly Radstock Town on Tuesday night.

The visitors went into the game on the back of an entertaining 3-3 home draw with Bridport on Saturday.

A early own goal from Gary Thorne gave the visitors the lead and Larks could not draw level before the break despite a succession of chances and goalmouth scrambles.

There were opportunities at both ends in the second period, with Joe Strading missing an open goal for Larks and Bridport being denied by Jake Hiscocks' goalline clearance.

Simon Gilbert finally equalised when he converted Jamie Lyons' cross and then scored from the spot after being brought down in the box. Bridport levelled ten minutes later before Gilbert went close to completing his hat-trick.

Anthony Conradi's introduction had an immediate impact as he poked the ball home with five minutes left but Larks could not hold on.

They entertain Buckland Athletic on Saturday, while Bitton, who returned to action with a home game against Gillingham Town last night, travel to Willand Rovers. John Lester's side are also at home to Melksham Town on Wednesday night.

Keynsham Town's five-match winning run was halted by fellow Division 1 high-fliers Shepton Mallet on Saturday as they were beaten 3-1 at Crown Field.

Patrick Davison capitalised on a defensive mix-up to give Town the lead from 20 yards.

But Kye Palmer equalised before the break and early second-half goals from Liam Watson and Tom Seery wrapped up the points for the visitors.

Keynsham face trips to Wellington and Roman Glass St George on Saturday and Wednesday respectively.
