City of Bath Hockey Club will begin preparations for the 2010-11 season with their annual club day and barbecue at Kingswood School's upper pitch on Saturday, September 4.

Former England A international James Kellock has returned to City – who run four men's, three ladies and junior sides – as club coach for the season.

Players of all ages and abilities are welcome to attend the club day, with junior hockey taking place from 12-2pm and adults mixed games running from 2-4pm.

To help with administration, those wishing to join the club should bring their bank details in order to fill out the relevant forms efficiently.

Informal training sessions have started on Wednesdays at Kingswood and run from 7-8.30pm. After the club day, more structured sessions will start on Tuesdays (juniors over 11 and ladies), Wednesdays (men) and Sunday mornings (under-10s).
