Hockey: Team Bath Buccs ladies 2nds see off Taunton Vale challenge
A confident performance earned Team Bath Buccs ladies 2nds a 2-0 victory at Taunton Vale.
After a goalless first half, Buccs wasted little time in taking the lead through Olivia Rendall.
A good strike from Steph Baker was well saved by the Taunton keeper but as the pressure increased, Phil Morris’ cool finish doubled Buccs’ advantage.
Taunton attacked straight from the pushback once again to force a penalty corner but were denied by Buccs’ solid back four.
